Name: MarleyBreed: Grey tabby
Age: 11 months
Origins: Marley came from the Ottawa Humane Society. She lived in a foster home with her mother and siblings until the age of 3 months, when she was brought back to the shelter to be adopted out. Her foster home name was Jill.
Nicknames: Marley-O, Kittenpants (pronounced regularly and as Key-tawn-paunce!), M.O., and if the mood is right, Marley-arley-O.
Likes: Paper bags, jingle balls, pounce treats, teasing Bruin, rubbing against Gryphon, laptime, lying in sunbeams, attacking her own tail, watching the neighborhood out the window, cacking over birds outside, stealing pens and earrings, and lying out on the balcony.
Embarrassing Habits: Staring at the ceiling even if there's nothing there, acting like the little girl in The Exorcist when you have to cut her nails, and knocking over everything during her mad dashes through the apartment (meant to entice Bruin to chase her).
Points of Interest: We originally thought we would like Marley's brother, as he was an adorable brown tabby who was flirting with us through the bars of his Humane Society cage while she hid in the back. We got him out, and he proceeded to CHOMP his way up Nik's arm and dig in every claw hysterically. Once the attendant peeled him off of Nik, we held Marley and she just purred.
