Name: Bruin
Breed: Shepard X (crossed with what, I haven't the foggiest)
Age: 6 months
Origins: The Ottawa Humane Society. His first owners apparently got him from a litter in town, then surrendered him because he was going to be "too big". That was nearly 3 months, and 30 pounds ago! Bruin's pound name was Brown Sugar.
Nicknames: Bru, Baby Bru, BruBear, Broooon, Australian Hat (one ear is always inside out), BubblePup
Likes: Squeaky toys, rawhide, wrestling with other puppies, running in circles, squirrels, chasing Marley, licking fingers and toes, and lying on his back.
Tricks: So far: sit, lie down, leave it, stay, and shake. We're currently working on roll over, and "stand up" (sitting pretty).
Embarrassing Habits: Goosing strangers, picking at his crotch in front of people, letting puppies half his size mop the floor with him at the dog park, humping Gryphon, having ears that insist on flipping inside out, running through the apartment while "sprinkling", and trying to steal food when people aren't looking.
Points of Interest: Baby Bruin looked so much like Gryphon as a puppy that we had to go adopt him. He has four white tipped paws. Bruin will be entering agility classes in the fall.
